How to make a living online

Making a living online is the dream of many, but few actually achieve it. This is not because it’s not possible; it’s just that, making a living online is not as simple as some people would have you believe.

There is no magic button that you can press, and then you sit back and watch your online earnings roll on in. What you are going to need, if you want to make a full time living online, is patience, perseverance and a little bit of luck. First, though, let’s talk about whom I am and what this blog is all about.

Making Money Online - My own Story

I won’t bore you here with a full biography; it is knowledge about making money online that you came here for! So, to cut a long story short, I have in my time been an accountant, worked in sales and marketing and run several businesses of my own. I then, for want of a better way of putting it, had a mental breakdown which, once I had recovered from, left me with a hell of a lot of time in hands.

I was left with some decisions to make. I didn't want to go back into traditional employment and was in fact being advised by doctors not to do so. But, not being the type of person who can sit around doing nothing, I started to explore the idea of making my living online.

Like you, I had seen plenty of the ads telling me that I could one million dollars tomorrow, if just clicked here, but the accountant in me told me that this was at best unlikely and most probably a scam, that wanted me to part with some cash.

But, the accountant and entrepreneur side of me was still telling me that it must be possible, so I set out to find out more. I have now spent just under a year researching, trying out ideas and, yes, building an online income and now, I do actually make my living from online earnings.

Making Money Online – The steady and reliable way

Having done all this hard work and finding out, the hard way, what are real online earning opportunities and what are not, I thought the time had come to share my experiences with others on a blog. Now, that’s not because I am so rich that I can afford to become charitable in my old age. This blog will be setting out the steps that I took to achieve a full time income and then links to various websites that I use that you can make money from too. If you sign up for some of the websites that I will mention here, then I get a commission and that’s what they call affiliate marketing. But, then, when you get people to sign up under you, then you will get a commission too, so we are all winners and that’s what this blog is all about.

OK, so you are asking, what’s in this for me? Well, if you sign up to follow this blog, then you will be emailed, every time I post a new article, or a review of an advertised opportunity to make money online.

I will be including how-to guides on things like setting up your own blog, signing up for advertising programmes as well as reviews of websites that I have made money from. And don’t worry; it won’t be a continuous stream of get rich quick schemes that are sent to your inbox. I will only post articles that I think offer genuine opportunity or about the things that I have used myself. I can also assure you that your email details will remain confidential and I won’t pass them on to any third parties.
